New Game Leader Co-Ordinator

We welcome aboard our new game leader co-oridinator Sian Nielsen.

With a wealth of experience in officiating in the CDSFA District and FNSW Youth Leagues, Sian has accepted a role at Inter Lions as the Game leader Co-ordinator.

2026 will be her 4th Year as a referee with Football Canterbury. As much as being Centre referee is fun, her preferred position is on 'the sticks' (Assistant Referee)

In her first year she was appointed AR1 for O30sW Champions of Champions Final, then

in her third year she was appointed AR1 for U16G Champions of Champions Final.

Throughout the seasons she has done many State Cup games, Centre and AR.

In 2025, she was appointed AR1 for FC GMPL Grand Final, and also appointed the Centre Referee for the U16G Grand Final before playing my her own GF, which we won 2-0.

On top of all these accolades, she was a senior referee in the Inner West Cup(very large Small Sided Tournament run by Inter Lions FC.)

In her fourth year she has joined the FNSW referee development panel where she will be introduced to more youth league and senior games. Very exciting times!

We welcome Sian or CC as she likes to be called to the Inter Lions Family and look forward to the wealth of knowledge she passes on to the younger generations of game leaders.
