Appointment of Nick Porreca as Head of Football( Men’s & Boys)

Inter Lions FC is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Nick Porreca as the Head of Senior Men’s and Boys Youth League Football for the upcoming season.

Nick joins the club with an extensive coaching background and holds the esteemed FFA/AFC A Diploma, one of the highest coaching qualifications in Australian football. His experience, leadership, and technical knowledge make him an exceptional addition to our high‑performance football program.

Coaching Background

With over 27 years of coaching experience and more than 20 years as a player — including time in the former State League and NSL — Nick has coached across senior and youth structures at several respected clubs:

·                  Mounties – 1st Grade

• Granville Rage – 1st Grade (Super League)

• Schofield Scorpions – 1st Grade

• PCYC Parramatta Malita Eagles – 1st Grade Assistant

• Blacktown Spartans – 1st Grade

• Rockdale City Suns – Club Technical Director & 1st Grade

• Sutherland Sharks – 20s & 1st Grade Assistant

• NWS Spirit – 1st Grade Assistant

Nick brings a proven record of success, including:

·                  Two-time Grand Finalist – PCYC Parramatta Malita Eagles (2008 & 2009)

·                  Australia Cup Round of 16 vs Melbourne Victory – NWS Spirit (2024)

·                  Premiership Winner – NWS Spirit (2025)

·                  Australia Championship Quarter Finalist vs South Melbourne (2025)

Nick on Joining Inter Lions FC

After meeting with our Club Directors, Nick expressed strong alignment with the club’s vision and long‑term ambitions.

At this stage of my coaching career, it is the right environment for me to contribute, develop, and help drive the club to the next level.
